My best friend is now moving slowly but surely out of his mallcore metal stage, I do not think he likes Slipknot as well as he used to before we went to Ozzfest and saw Ozzy, Nile, Behemoth, 3 Inches of Blood, Lordi, and Lamb of God. I doubt he will admit it but I think he may be starting to slowly realize that Slipknot and Disturbed are not metal. I believe this because he no longer has me make cds with just Slipknot on it, the most recent one was a Lamb of God compilation and in his cds he now has a mix of Slipknot, Lamb of God, Ozzy Osbourne, Daath, Lordi, and Slayer.

Slipknot is Nu-Metal, simple as that. And Lamb of God? I remember when I use to be into them, they're kiddie Metal to be honest, they're not brutal enough nor have licks that take longer then half hour to master. You might want to introduce some good old Finnish Metal, Stam1na beats the shit out of anything Lamb of God has to offer. LOG is also a bit over rated and over listened to.
his fave band is LOG, and I have since got him into Nile and several other bands, he pretty much no longer likes Slipknot
